12 May A decade of Waste Minimisation with the Sustainable Business Program
We’re happy to share that Accsys Consulting has again been accredited by the ACT Government’s Sustainable Business Program for our work in waste minimisation, with 2026 marking a decade of accreditation.
The accreditation is an acknowledgement that we follow the practices the Government recommends to reduce waste and improve recycling.
What the accreditation covers
- Audit of current waste handling – a review of how waste is collected and sorted in our offices.
- Waste‑management plan – a plain‑language document that sets a few sensible targets and assigns responsibilities.
- Resources & signage – simple labels and posters that help staff remember the right bins.
- Staff education – short sessions (online or in‑person) that explain why separating waste matters and how to do it correctly.
- Reporting & monitoring – basic tracking to confirm that our efforts are making a small but measurable difference.
