Sage 300 2022 Product Update 2

The product update 2 for Sage 300 includes the following new features.

Advanced Complex Passwords

Changes to user passwords to make Sage 300 more secure. In Sage 300 Database Setup, on the Advanced Security Settings screen A new Increase required complexity option allows you specify that passwords must meet a range of settings. See our post on Advanced Complex Passwords.

Email documents using Microsoft 365

You can now set up Sage 300 to email documents using Microsoft 365. To do so, select Microsoft Graph in the new Email Service field on the Email tab of the Company Profile screen.

Send test emails using Microsoft Outlook. 

When setting up your company profile, you can send test emails using Microsoft Outlook.

Web screen improvements

Enter job-related documents in Accounts Payable. 

You can now enter and work with job-related documents on all A/P transaction entry screens

Improved way of entering information in some fields. 

For selected fields, new buttons are available that allow you to specify a value more quickly and easily by going to the first or last value, or to the next or previous value. 

EFT Processing

New option to configure EFT Banks to upload to SFTP with 2 factor authentication, using both Key file and Username and password.

Web Screens released for most EFT AP/AR setup and transaction screens.

Payables Workflow

Added the ability to record comments in the Document Processing Service (DPS) Console. Comments entered here will flow to the invoice when processed.

Payment Time Reporting Scheme (PTRS) (Australia): Date Received and Date Entered fields are now available on PA-AP and PA-PO entry screens. Small Business flag is now available in the DPS Vendor Settings.
